25 Essential Oils for great skin!

1. Argan Oil
It's been given the nickname "liquid gold" in Morocco because of its many beauty benefits. It is packed full of Vitamin C. It's amazing because it is super-hydrating for your skin but it is also a great nail treatment.




2. Coconut Oil
They call it a miracle hydrator for face, body, lips - anywhere you want to relive dry skin. It is packed with nourishing fatty acids, which help keep skin cells moist and strong by minimizing water loss. 




3. Almond Oil
Almonds as a snack are really good for you because of the omega 3s. That makes this oil a supper soothing body moisturizer. It is also hypoallergenic so its okay to use on skin that is easily irritated. It also works to ease symptoms of eczema.    




4. Olive Oil
It has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, this means it is great for dandruff or a dry and itchy scalp. It is also rich in vitamins that help battle lines and spots caused by sun damage. You can just add 2 drops to your favorite moisturizer to amp up the anti-aging benefits. 



5. Jojoba Oil
This oil is a fantastic skin softener and it also works wonders on dry or textured hair. It smooths frizz, conditions hair and keeps the hair nice and strong. When buying shampoo and conditioner, definitely have a look for it in the ingredients.



 6. Grapeseed Oil
You will tend to see this oil on the ingredients of many anti-aging creams or serums because it is shown to aid in restoring collagen, this means it softens lines and helps skin stay firm. It is also high in polyphenols, which are antioxidants that help calm skin inflammation.




7. Rosehip Seed Oil 
This is a powerful anti-ager, which is extracted from rose bushes. It is packed full of potent antioxidants like vitamin C & E, along with 'wrinkle fighting' vitamin A. It protects the skin from the damage that causes lines and dark spots as well as increases cell turnover rate, which leads to a smoother complexion.





8. Marula Oil
It comes from the nuts of Africa's Marula tree, this oil can help clear up acne. Yes, it is an oil that can put an end to breakouts. It has antimicrobial elements that fight acne-causing bacteria, it is lightweight and it does clog your pores. It is also a great frizz tamer, so look for it in hair products too.


9. Sesame Seed Oil
This oil contains a skin-beautifying blend of fatty acids such as oleic, palmitic, stearic and lenoleic acid, all of which keep skin supple and soft. It is also known to increase circulation. It is also great for diminishing the look of cellulite.






10. Camellia Seed Oil
It is rich in omega 6 & 9, this oil is great for softening skin and sealing in moisture without leaving skin greasy. You can smooth it over your face day and night. Put some on the ends of your hair too. It will hydrate the ends without weighing it down.




11. Lemon Balm Essential Oil
This oil is a member of the mint family, it contains potent antioxidants such as caffeine and ferulic acid, which act as a shield against aging toxins like the sun rays. If you put it under your sun-cream, it gives your skin a protective barrier.





12. Pomegranate Seed Oil
They are known for their high antioxidant count, they are also healthy to munch on. Plus, the oil within them makes them a great anti-ager too. It helps to keep the production - and reduce the breakdown of - collagen fibers, helping your complexion look firm and youthful.





13. Carrot Seed Oil
They are from the dried seeds of the carrot plant. This oil helps fight wrinkles, fade age spots (and protects you from getting them!), and can speed up healing when applied to eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin irritations.

18. Moringa Oil 
This oil comes from the seeds of the Moringa tree. You can smooth this oil over your skin for the most healthy rosy glow. This oil helps to battle skin fatigue, so your complexion will appear radiant and refreshed.  




19. Sunflower Seed Oil
This oil is filled with Vitamin C so it makes for a heavy duty body hydrator. Use a few drops of this oil on targeted areas like ashy knees or elbows, or all over and you will fell nourished and well hydrated.






20. Rosemary Oil
As a face oil, it helps stimulate cell renewal, it gets rid of the old complexion dulling cells and reveals fresh ones underneath. You can also use it as a scalp treatment for dandruff. In a glass, mix 5 to 7 drops of it in tepid water and use it as a hair rinse after shampooing.

23. Lemongrass Oil
This is a herb usually used in cooking but it has skin beautifying benefits as well. It helps minimize pores, control oil production and provide a temporary skin firming affect.



24. Eucalyptus Oil 
It comes from the dried leaves of the eucalyptus tree. This oil helps calm inflamed skin from acne and treat minor wounds, blisters and bruises. If you massage some into your scalp, it will stimulate your hair follicles and make your hair grow nice and shiny.


25. Blue Tansy Oil 
This oil is brimming with anti-inflammatory properties which helps balance, hydrate and even out your complexion. You can do this by spreading some on your face before bed.
